What can I say about this place? It's the best place I have ever worked. I'm a part of a team who really cares and does things right. I don't have to feel brow-beat if I make a mistake. When I make mistakes I get immediate feedback, consistent consequences and we find a solution and move forward. I feel like it is so neat to work for a company where the owner is involved. I feel like people acknowledge me and respect my opinions and input. There is an organized chain of command and everyone is clear on expectations and what happens when those expectations are met or unmet. I used to hate the ever changing mental health system because of the stress it caused. But here, I have learned to expect change and I am no longer afraid of growth. It makes a difference when you work in an environment where the clients are first and the clinicians are respected as well. I love that when I need a break, my superiors do not make comments that make me feel like I'm not competent enough to handle my position. Instead, at Bridges of Hope my superiors recognize that I'm human and a break would do me good.

The Transitional Service Program that you and ECBH are providing is the best program we have ever seen. I wish there were more providers like Bridges of Hope that actually work with the State in the direction we are trying to go, with the hospitals, and with the LME instead of passing the responsiblity everytime a client becomes tough to work with. After all, why are we here anyways? The demand for Bridges of Hope has grown so much in the last year. We have had calls from Wilson, Eastpointe and Albamarle LME's. I hope that you expand the Transitional Service Program to our other high need areas soon!

I was EXTREMELY pleased to review my patient's Person Centered Plan. I have never seen one so thorough and so accurately addressing the real issues. I was very happy to be included in the treatment team and to sign the Person Centered Plan in order to include the added goal.

"Thanks for all that you have done to help. We have never worked with a company that provides the type of care that you all have done. North Carolina has been waiting for a company like Bridges of Hope.... what a great name, that's exactly what you are!"

" I think it's great what you are doing to help people. Your company will succeed. You can tell that people work there for the right reasons; to help people. That's not something you often see and just know."

"I grew up here. There are a lot of people who work in mental health just for a job. When I came here I could tell you really care; that you really go out of your way to help people. You can just tell that you really care."

I just wanted to let all of you know that if it were not for all of you, I would be in prison right now. In fact... it's pretty amazing that I found some people that really know how to work with me and work through some of the things I'm going through. I don't know what the future holds for me, but I do know that I am doing better off than if I were alone. I just wanted to say thank you.

"Bridges of Hope has helped me grow so much. I have learned from staff, clients, and even myself throughout the growth of this company. I have learned that things do not always happen in my timing and that the only person I can truly change is me. With the knowledge of those two facts alone, there is enough to better the world one example at a time. I have learned that although I want to be a person who helps others find opportunities through tough times each person is responsible for taking his/her own opportunity and that is where my responsibility ends. I am so thankful to have a group of encouraging, enthusiastic people to surround me on a daily basis. I am thankful for the existence of Bridges of Hope!!"
