Intensive In Home services are time-limited intensive family preservation intervention intended to stabilize the living arrangement, promote reunification or prevent the utilization of out-of-home therapeutic resources (i.e., psychiatric hospital, therapeutic foster care, residential treatment facility) for children age 3 to 20. The Intensive In Home team consists of a Licensed Therapist who serves as a family therapist as well as a team leader for the team. The IIH includes several other key staff such as Qualified Professionals and Associate Professionals who have received extensive training and education on child and family treatment. The team also provides the family with coordination of Child and Family Team meetings to assist with barriers at school, DSS, probation officers, court, and/or natural support barriers. These services are delivered primarily to children in their family’s home with a family focus to work with the family providing family and individual therapy, develop coping skills for child and family members, and work on de-escalating crisis situation(s). A team of professionals will work together to provide cognitive behavioral therapy with the child and family residing in the home. IIH provides crisis responding 24/7/365 to avoid and prevent out of home placement. We are compassionate about the children and families that we serve. |
