Assertive Community Treatment is an intensive service for adults who struggle with Severe and Profound mental illness and/or Severe substance abuse disorders.  Our advanced team of professionals who work under the direction of a MA level Qualified Professional and Psychiatrist MD, provide trauma focused therapy through a single unit-team approach.  Our ACT team is compassionate about meeting individuals where they are coming from and can respond anywhere anytime.  This service allows for individuals to be linked to basic resources, receive psycho-education, medication management,  medication administration, vocational rehabilitation, and overcome barriers to housing or other basic needs.  ACTT can work together with individuals who have had difficulties with other services in the past or who have a resistance to treatment or following through with appointments.  Assertive Community Treatment allows for the Psychiatrist to see client’s receiving ACTT, even if the individual is unable to come to the office for an appointment.  In addition to the Psychiatrist, ACTT services provide an array of other clinical expertise from the team including several Masters level Qualified Professionals, nurses, Qualified Vocational Rehabilitation Specialists, Certified Peer Support Specialists, Certified Substance Abuse Specialists, and Program Assistants.  Our team follows the National ACTT model for optimizing the delivery of quality services.
